Blackberry Passport: A comeback for Blackberry.

Some weeks ago Blackberry made available their new flagship device known as the Blackberry Passport. A stunning device which we believe could help bring up the name of the company. The word stunning is used for the device as it features a sleek square design with a premium finish which we’ve never seen in a Blackberry device. Below is a video of the story behind it’s design.

Indeed Blackberry has fulfilled their goal of creating a unique device. But before we continue lets quickly run through the core specifications of the smartphone.

Blackberry Passport

The Pros and Cons of the Blackberry Passport are as follows;

Pros

  • Excellent battery life
  • Excellent Qwerty keyboard
  • Great reading and editing experience
  • Solid build quality

Cons

  • Awkward form factor
  • Almost impossible to use with one hand

From the above said one can judge that the Blackberry Passport is a great device because what makes a great device is the build quality, battery life, speed, storage space and the experience it provides users. The Blackberry Passport definitely checks all the boxes although, it is a really big device making it almost impossible to be used with one hand but then from the onset Blackberry devices were never made to be a one handed device considering their qwerty keyboards.

This device would indeed serve it’s purpose to the business category of users as the screen makes work easier thus almost eradicating the use of a laptop.

Does the above said makes this truly a come back device? Yes it does from our perspective and to prove this we shall compare it’s specifications with the Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6.

The table says it all so if you don’t mind the wideness of the Blackberry Passport or the fact that you would always have to use your two hands, grab yourself one and get your work done.
